Amendments 6-10
6th Amendment
We are your jury.
I love the Bill of Rights!
7th Amendment
We are your jury.
I love the Bill of Rights too!
Amendments 6-10 are mainly related to the judicial system, but 9 and 10 have to do with the rights and powers of the states and the people.
8th Amendment
You were being mean! To the guillotine!
Please, mercy!
The Sixth Amendment pertains to the judicial system, stating that people have the right to a jury in criminal trials.
9th Amendment
Under the 9th Amendment, I still have rights even if they are not explicitly listed in the Bill of Rights.
Stop! Do you have the right to get a job here?
The Sixth Amendment is another right relevant to the judicial system, giving people the right to a jury in civil trials.
10th Amendment
The Constitution doesn't give us this power, so I guess it is yours.
The Eighth Amendment is another judicial branch Amendment, restricting punishment, bails, and fines to reasonable degrees.
The Ninth Amendment states that people still have basic, reasonable rights even if they are not listed in the Bill of Rights.
The Tenth Amendment gives the states and the people remaining powers that are not bestowed upon the federal government.
