- Suleiman turned the Ottoman empire into a economic powerhouse.
- Mehemed's siege lasted 53 days and finally he conquered byzantine. He had to drag his ships over a hill to get passed the wall but in he end he had victory. This impacted his empire because they had more land and a new capital but instead of it being Constantinople he named it Istanbul.

- Mehemed expanded the empire by conquering Constantinople, western Anatolia, and the Balkans. His empire became bigger and more rich because of all his land he conquered.

- He reformed the law and created a single legal code. He also reworked the tax system, built schools, and supported the arts. His time was known as the Golden age for the Ottoman empire.
- I am so much better than Mehmed I am strengthening the economy with my schools I am building.
- Suleiman didn't just start the Golden age he also expanded the empire into areas of eastern Europe. This impacted the empire by making it even stronger and more powerful because it was bigger.
- Mehemed was the better ruler because he conquered the Byzantine empire. He expanded the empire tremendously and set the empire up for the golden age. He also renamed the capital Constantinople to Istanbul.
