  • A ballerina had to apologize for forgetting to speak horribly so she wouldn't offend anyone.
  • "Sorry for my  warm, luminous, and timeless melody voice."
  • Harrison barged in and he began to take off his handicaps and wanted everyone to do the same.
  • I am the Emperor!!! Do as I say!!!
  • When Harrison and a ballerina took off their handicaps and make a scene The Handicap General shot and killed them.
  • Hazel told George to lay down on the sofa because he looked tired. She was trying to convince George to take off his weights and that she won't care if they weren't equal for a while. But George refused.
  • George is more intelligent than normal so he has a mental handicap radio in his ear and is required by law to wear them at all times. It makes a strange sharp noise every twenty seconds.

  • In his story "Harrison Bergeron," Kurt Vonnegut makes the point that no one will ever be exactly the same. Someone will always be better at something than others and that's okay. We shouldn't feel threatened or offended if someone is really good at something. I also think he is trying to say that life is more than just our talents and what we look like. We shouldn't be consumed with what everyone else looks like and what they can do.
