- Elena and Bonnie are at school when a new student approaches them. They both find him very attractive, but Elena has a special connection.

- Hi Stefan! I'm Caroline! Nice to meet you!

- After school Elena is sitting in the graveyard writing as she is approached by Stefan.
- She has been attacked by an animal someone help!

- Stefan comes to pick up Elena to go to the party.

- Elena and Stefan arrive at the party and meet with Bonnie and Caroline.
- After a while of hanging out and getting to know each other at the party, Elena and Stefan hear a scream and and go to see what is going on. They see their friend Vicky on the ground, she was attacked by what they think is an animal, but Stefan thinks different.
- A few hours later......
- Stefan wonders off and is approached by his brother Damon who he hasn't seen in years.
