That’s a thing I want ya to know.”Lennie said, “I thought you was mad at me, George.” George is trys to wipe all thoughts of sorrow and loneliness from Lennie’s mind. He wants his final thoughts to be about their friendship and the dream of the farm and rabbits.
- “I could get along so easy and so nice if I didn't have you on my tail...God, you're a lot of trouble,” -George This shows that Lennie can be pretty annoying, or be very clumsy. It also shows that lennie is characterized as being somewhat of a troublemaker
- Idealized male friendship.."I just like to know what your interest is Well, I never seen one guy take so much trouble for another guy."
- Fear “Maybe ever’body in the whole damn world is scared of each other.”
- My prediction is that Curley's wife is gonna try to get with George, which is gonna cause drama for George. The reason I think this is because the book makes you get the feeling something bad is gonna happen, especially something that has to do with Curley's wife
