- Paul's Bizarre Adventure( From Acts of the Apostles 9:1-30)
- Blast it, I am going to kill all the Jews!
- Now Saul, still breathing murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord, a went to the high priest on his way to the synagogue
- Who are you sir?
- After Paul stood up from the ground, he was led to Damascus by some of his men. At Damascus, he blind for three days, being unable eat or drink
- As he was close to Damascus, a strange light flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him
- I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting
- Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
- The Lord: Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and Israelites
- The Lord called a man by the name of Ananias to go and baptize Saul. (Which will also help him regain his eyesight).
- But I thought this guy was going to kill all of us who believed in the Lord
- Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came, that you may reign your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit
- So Ananias went and entered the house; laying his hands on him and said
- Immediately, things like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight and was baptized. After Saul ate, he recovered is strength
- That is why, Jesus is the Son of God!
- He stayed with the disciples in Damascuswhich made Saul grow all the stronger and was able to confound all the Jews living in Damascus, proving that this is the Messiah.
- Wait, Isn't he the same guy that killed people for worshipping Jesus?
- Sorry Saul, we will have to send you to Caesarea, then you leave for Tarsus. You can still preach though
- Then, When he went to Jerusalem, the Jews conspired to kill him. So they led him through an opening in the wall, lowering the basket. After, he preached with the other disciples in Jerusalem. (He also spoke to the Hellenists, but they tried to kill him
- O well, looks like I'll have to proclaim God's Word somewhere else
