Mercutio and Tybalt begin to fight and Romeo draws his sword and tells Benvolio also to draw his sword that way they can stop the fight.

Mercutio is hurt and is cursing both the Montagues and Capulets for what has happened to him.
Mercutio reveals he has been stabbed by Tybalt underneath the arm of Romeo.
