  • I am too large to fit in this house. I'll need to call Proper to make this a larger house and I want a square prism house too!
  • I'm so big now!
  • If you take one minute longer, you're fired, so tell me how to find the surface area and volume of a square prism!
  • Ok, I will.
  • Here are your dimensions for your big house.
  • Length: 4 metersWidth = 4 metersHeight = 8 meters
  • To find the volume of your house, you have to do this. Volume=length * width *height4*4*8= 128 cubic meters
  • Are you happy? I'm going as fast as I can.
  • To find the surface area of your house. You have to do, Surface Area=Area of top face+ Area of bottom face +Area of side face + Area of side face+ Area of front face + Area of back face=16+ 16+ 32+ 32+ 32 + 32=160 square metersSince this is a square prism, the bases are both squares.
  • There you go.
  • Oh my! It's so large and beautiful! Well done Proper.
  • Why thank you.
  • Wonderful to see you Triangubella. Your house looks amazing.
  • Of course Squareabella. I've come here to ask your mathematicians about this new mini pyramid I got.
  • Which one? Proper is my favorite.
  • I guess I will choose the last one. Ethan or something. I'll ask you personally.
  • I'm Sym.
  • Now Ethan. How do I find the surface area of a square pyramid? The dimensions are in millimeters.
  • I'm Sym! The base is 2 millimeters and the height is 3 millimeters.
  • Fantastic! Thank you, now I can build my own set of pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Giza will be nothing compared to it..
  • Surface Area=Area of square base+ Area of triangular face + Area of triangular face + Area of triangular face + Area of triangular face=4+3+3+3+3=16 square mm
  • My pleasure, Triangubella.
  • Thanks, Squareabella! You truly have the best mathematicians.
  • Thank you!
  • Math CAN be fun!
  • Thank you! Have a good evening. Enjoy the cliffhanger. There will be a sequel.
  • We liked it! Yay for math! Thanks for the play.
  • Thank you.
