- I decided to go outside, it was finally time I left my room, I did not feel ready but natural selection pushed me outside
- When I came out of my room, they were watching, as if they were waiting for me, some gossiping about me, several laughed with mischief, others simply stared in awe, making me feel more like an ogre than before.
- EWWW! WHAT IS THAT?
- AHHAHAHAHAHAHA
- After being rejected I came back to my room to be comforted by my mother who covered the windows again so that I wouldn't experience rejection again
- When I noticed what was on my back I realized cold feet were the least of my problems
- Desperate, I started looking for something to cover the window to prevent people from seeing me. I ripped the pages of the book my mother used to read to me as a child and sticked them to the window with my moist, slimy hands.

- I lost notion of time, I never felt like taking care of myself. Some of the paper had started to fall off and the sunshine started to show, then I heard the doorbell.
