Storyboard Text
- During a storm, the sky spirit’s daughter was told to ask the wind spirit to blow softer in case it blows the mountain over. She climbed up to the smoke hole and remembered that her father had told her you could see the ocean from there. She then peeked her head out of the hole. The wind got a hold of her hair and blew her to the bottom of the mountain.
- There, she met a grizzly bear who was hunting food for his family. The grizzly took her home and raised her with his other cubs. She then grew up to marry and have cubs with the eldest grandson.
- The mother grizzly bear felt her time was coming soon, and wanted to finally tell the Sky spirit where his daughter was. When she did, he was not pleased. After he saw the family she created with the grizzlies, he scolded the grizzly harshly enough that she dropped dead. For the other grizzlies, he cursed them with the inability to speak and walk on two feet.
