- The Maiden hears about the fruit of the tree and decides to check it out herself. Amazed, she talks to the head of One Hunahpu.
- I do want it.
- What's the fruit of tree doing here? Should I pick one? No fruit should deserve to rot.
- Why would you want a mere bone from the branches of a tree? You don't want it do you?
- Very well. Stretch out your right hand.
- The bone spits out saliva and landed on her hand. As the Maiden inspected it, it was no longer on her hand.
- What's this?
- My head has nothing on it. Only bone. The flesh is all I have of my face to make me look good. The rest is just bones. Now go to the face of the Earth. You will not die.
