- Given the blurred lines between what is sinful and what is illegal in the eyes of the government, Iranians have been fighting for their lives to protect their access to knowledge and basic human necessities.
- THESIS: While Iranian culture has evolved over the years, its government, religion, and fashion have shaped Iranian worldviews to be one of inquisition, curiosity, and rebellion.

- Prior to the revolution, Iran was known for its high fashion but since, many have turned to dark colors and muted tones, symbolic of the repression of the regime. Today, Iranian women seem limited by the hijab in terms of self-expression and must work around these restrictions.
- Clearly, the shifts in Iran’s sociopolitical climate have directly impacted Iranian culture. Within these political and religious doctrines have come inquisition and curiosity along with acts of rebellion that have shaped Iranian worldviews.
