Storyboard Text
- The sun is what starts the water cycle. Everything starts with the suns heat. This is the beginning of Willy the water molecule and his journey through the water cycle.
- As the sun heats up the water, Willy the water molecule starts to absorb thermal energy and he warms up. He turns into water vapor or gas and floats to the sky. This change from a liquid to a gas is called Evaporation. It's getting hot....there he goes!!
- As Willy floats up in the air, he goes through the troposphere in the atmosphere, it starts getting cooler. Willy then starts to lose so much thermal energy that he changes from a gas to a liquid state. This is called Condensation.
- As Willy becomes cooler he starts to turn in to water. Willy become a rain drop with drops of water like him that are in the clouds become so large and heavy that they fall down to Earth's surface with Willy. I This is called Precipitation. I'll see you at the bottom...here I go!
- Willy fell in to a river that was heading back to the ocean. Willy floated down the river runoff into the ocean with the other raindrops that fell in to the river.
- Willy final mad it back where he started. it was a long journey for Willy he went threw the whole water cycle.
