- Anthrax is a serious infection caused by Bacillus anthracis. It can be deadly if not treated promptly. If you believe you have been exposed, contact your local public health agency.

- The Strategic National Stockpile has been activated. This means that life-saving antibiotics and vaccines are already on their way to protect our community.

- Once you have a public health patient number, go to the nearest Point of Distribution (POD) to receive your antibiotics. These locations are operational 24/7.
