- In a full assult the forces of darkness attacked the Domerman border village of Harstburn. It was lit on fire by magic fireballs and invaded by shadow soldiers.
- Even though the Domerman's had thought that the village would be the first attacked and had stationed guards the battle was over quickly with the forces of darkness easily overwhelming the Domermans'.
- On the way to the Domerman's castle a scouting party of shadow scouts ran into a retreating small force of Domermans and killed them off so that word of the invasion wouldn't reach the capitol.
- Late one night the army of darkness finally arrived at the palace. The fight outside was a long one eventually ending in the Domermans retreating.
- Then again at the palace doors the Domermans launched another large defensive. Again this ended in massive losses for both sides and the Domermans having to retreat.
- To open all the gates the Shadow soldiers had to go engage in a battle for control on the wall. Even though it was difficult they managed to secure the wall and open the doors.
