- Jen was in physical education class, Fran was also in her class. Coach Lane was their teacher. She was also a athletics coach for girls. Coach Lane said they were going to race with Coach Clark's class. Coach Clark was a boys' athletics coach. The class screamed. It was the first time they participated in races with their class.

- The school is over for today. Jen met Fran in front of school. The girl ran into Fran. She didn't mean to do it. French yelled at her, the girl apologized and hurried away. Jen said she didn't have to yell at her because it was accidental and she didn't want it.
