  • The Andes Mountains are along the western edge of South America! Both winters and summers are considered cold. Winters are an average of 52F and in summers its average is about 68F.
  • How interesting! Did you now that most peaks of the Andes Mountain are volcanic?

  • Apparently The North is described by two main divisions: Gran Chaco and Mesopotamia.
  • Really? I heard the northern part of Argentina has hot, humid summers with mild, drier winters and usually has a high precipitation all year round.
  • THE NORTH
  • The Pampas
  • Pampa is best known for being the home of gauchos. We also have very fertile soils!
  • The western more arid parts is called Dry Pampa and the more humid eastern parts are called Humid Pampa. Weird.
  • Patagonia is a cold, dry windy region!
  • Yes it's pretty chilly out. This regions is also well known for its dramatic mountain peaks. Though it has a bunch of unique animals!
  • Mesopotamia is called this because of where it is situated which is in between rivers Euphrates and Tigris.
  • Woah! I only knew Mesopotamia as vast, dry plain. The winters are usually short and cool and summers are hot and dry.
