Atahualpa: will rule the northern part of the empire
The two sons divided the empire in two parts. They each got a part of the empire.
When Huayna Capac died in 1527, the two sons decided to split the empire
Huascar: I will rule the southern part .
In 1531, the spanish arrived into the Empire of Inca. Francisco Pizarro hear about the war between Atahualpa and his brother. So he came to Cajamarca with 180 men because he wanted to invite him to the feast.
Franisco: I hear about the war between you and your brother. I want to invited you to a feast.
Atahualpa: I will accepted your invitation Francisco.
Atahualpa accepted the invitation to the feast because there was not that many people and and they had noting to hurt him.
Armed Spaniards on a horseback killed thousands of Incas and captured Atahualpa. When the Spaniards had riches, they executed Atahualpa.

Lastly Atahualpa's death in 1533 marked the beginning of the end of the Inca Empire
