- Miss Strangeworth begins her day by strolling down the town's main street. While strolling. It was a clear bright sunny day after the nights heavy rain. She comes across an tourist admiring her flowers, and greets him good morning. Miss Strangeworth informs him that her grandfather is well-known in this town.
- Good morning. Thank you for your compliment. "Did you know my grandfather built the first house on Pleasant Street?"
- Good morning, Miss Strangeworth. These are such pretty roses.
- Miss Strangeworth arrives at the grocery store and greets Mr Lewis. She notices that Mr Lewis is tired but says nothing and only reminds him of her tea. It is ironic that Miss StrangeWorth greets everyone happily but, doesn't seem to care.
- Good morning to you, Mr. Lewis.
- It's Tuesday, Mr. Lewis. I always buy tea, remember?
- He appears extremely exhausted, but I will not comment.
- Good morning, Miss Strangeworth. It is a very nice day.

- As they greet each other, Miss Strangeworth makes room for Miss Harper. Miss Harper was running low on frosting, so she came to the store. Miss Strangeworth is considering Miss Harper's strength and the possibility of her needing to use tonic.
