Hello! I heard you were an experienced agriculturist? I'm a new farmer here and I must say your plants look wonderful and healthy! I was wondering if you could give out some tips to me about plant propagation?
Of course, I'd be glad to! First of all, what kind of plants does your farm bare?
I take care of fruit-bearing plants, specifically eggplants and tomatoes.
I believe the best plant propagation method for those types of sprouts may be asexual propagation.
Oh wow, good to know; could you explain further?
I'd love to! I'll tell you ways on how to do asexual propagation for your plants.
Alright, so the first method for asexual propagation is grafting, this is where I cut my plant's stem to its rootstock. I take the other plant and cut off its roots and take its stem;
There are many ways on how to do this, but I'll only be explaining the best techniques for me, Let's start shall we?
-then cut off the sides to make a v shape on the bottom. This helps to directly put it in a slot I cut on my rootstock. I then wrap it up with plastic saran. The plant will grow much faster with it's new root system! How convenient, if you'd like your sprout to grow faster.
No worries, thanks for stopping by, see you around.
Wow! Thank you, I really needed it. I'll be trying it soon. In the meantime, see you around! Hopefully I get to ask for more tips.
