Eurystheus was Hercules's cousin and he was a cruel man who enjoyed watching his cousin suffer. Hercules's fourth task was to bring back the boar of Mount Erymanthus, alive.
As Hercules walked, he plucked the feathers from the rooster, which made the bird irritated. As each feather was taken, Hercules stuck them into the cow’s stomach. As he added more and more feathers the belly began to change shape. The creation did not resemble a chicken, but Hercules knew that no matter how bad his creation looked, that the boar, with his poor vision, couldn't tell the difference.
The boar has a few weaknesses which were bad eyesight and being lactose intolerant. The boar stayed on Mount Erymanthus and was forced to eat chickens.
The boar got closer and closer, but right before the boar reached him, Hercules tumbled to the side, fearful that without his armor he would be injured. The boar cleared a pathway through the forest.
Hercules started his quest right away!
I will need a jug of milk, and cow's stomach, a mighty chain, and a plump rooster to defeat the boar.
I have to get up!
