- LOOK AT HER! She's a red headed, freckle faced, narrowed hipped little girl with a fond for apples
- There is nothing better than playing the piano while the audience snaps their fingers, tap their feet, and sway to the music
- THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!
- Billy Jo's parents were having an argument because he never wanted a daughter.
- My hand really hurts
- I have to keep the house up like ma did
- Billy Jo was good at playing the piano. Her mother let her join a band as she will be getting paid because they need money.
- My hand hurt so much it's hard to play the piano
- Billy Jo father left out a bucket of Kerosene and it catches on fire burning Billy Jo and her mother hand. A couple weeks later Billy Jo mother Polly goes into labor while having her son she passed away. Franklin (the newborn baby) passed away a couple weeks later after his mother.
- Daddy
- Days later, Billy Jo hands were still hurting but she started thinking about her mother not being alive so she will have to start taking care of the house.
- Later that day, She had to practice the piano but her hands still was hurting.
- The father started distancing himself from his life and Billy Jo. He started working long shift hours at his new job.
