- Gregory and his wife Sarah walk outside to find a monkey paw laying on their step. Next to the monkey's paw there is a letter that states the monkey's paw will grant them 3 wishes of their choosing. They all are very excited, Gregory held up the paw and shouted I wish my family wealthy! in excitement.
- WEATHER CHANNEL
- When they walked into there living room there was three bags of one million dollars waiting for them. The monkey's paw they all thought. They all where very happy that the monkey's paw had worked. Now they are rich and can live a happy life!
- WEATHER CHANNEL
- Just a bit later though there was a broadcast on tv. On today's news three million dollars has been stolen from the county bank! Police think they have found the suspects address, now back to the weather. Gregory realized that the same amount was stolen from what they had,
- The family hears a loud banging all of a sudden, they all know who it is. The police then broke down the door and stormed into the house armed and ready. Their daughter screamed in fright startling one of the officers who had been holding a gun causing him to shoot.
- Gregory and Sarah cry over there daughter as the police start to become sad as well. She had died at the cost of a wish. Yes there wish was granted but under horrible circumstance.
- The day after their daughters funeral Gregory and Sarah take the monkey's paw to the top of the apartment building, burning it for good. The monkey's paw was gone but the family was still missing there daughter. They carried the guilt for the rest of their lives, replacing there daughter with money.
