  • Sleeping well gives you lots of energy so you can run around all day!

  • Getting enough sleep can also help you to think hard in school, and help you do well too!

  • Can you guess how many hours of sleep you need every night??
  • I know! it's 10 hours!

  • Why's that?
  • That's a LOT of hours! But it's super important for your body!

  • Well... Just in case you get hurt!

  • When you go to sleep, that's when your body heals the fastest!

  • Exactly! Sleeping helps your body grow and heal so you can become big and strong!

  • But... What happens if i can't get to sleep?
  • That's a good question! Well, we will take a look at a few techniques to do when you can't sleep!

  • One super important thing you can do is stay off of devices, like an iPad or phone at least 2 hours before bed!

  • How many of you put your technology away and hour or two before bed? No lying!

  • Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 and out for 4. (4x4x4)
  • *Whisper* And you can also do some breathing techniques! Like box breathing

  • Why don't you guys give it a try??
  • Remember! Breathe in for 4 seconds, then hold for 4 seconds and breathe out for 4 seconds. Don't do it too fast, you'll loose your breath too quickly!
