  • We are known as the parents of motion study.
  • In their lifetime search for the one best method of doing a specific job, they developed many new techniques for studying work. That they are the parents of motion study is universally accepted.
  • I started work life as a bricklayer’s apprentice. I aware of motion when my instructor show me how to lay bricks. From then I started to searching for the one best method.
  • I am a trained psychologist and people-oriented person. Me and Frank success in motion study led us from the construction business into consulting.
  • We develop methods study techniques like the cyclograph, Chrono cyclographs, movie cameras, etc. Our work has become a tradition of industrial engineering. systematic study of motions reduced costs greatly and founded a new profession of methods analysis. We used flow diagrams to show movement of product around an entire plant because they gave an accurate geographical picture of the entire process.
