Because of the long hours you worked, you didn't have time to focus on school or your passion. Think about the Bible, all God wanted was for the prophets to trust him, whether that be Abraham or Moses. You have to trust God and have faith that whatever God is doing is for your benefit.
Yes! Those people put their trust in God. They want a happy marriage and trust that God will keep it that way. Even people who end up getting divorced still live their lives. All you have to do is trust God and God does the rest. If you take one step towards the Lord, he walks the rest of the way to you.
I guess you're right grandma. As upset as I am about my job, I think God has opened a new opportunity for me and I'm going to take advantage of that.
