Executives focus on strategic planning, such as expansion and profit. Executives communicate key objectives to middle managers so these goals can be made true. They ensure the company's vision and mission are communicated and pursued.

First-line management directly supervise the employees. They are responsible for making sure the employees do their everyday tasks. They provide training and feedback to the employees. First-line management motivate staff, monitor attendance, and handle day to day operational issues. They ensure that the company's objectives are achieved on the ground level.
