- (1) The short story I will share for this strip will be about my first months at Miriam Nuvali
- My first months at Miriam were demoralizing I wasn't used to these standards set by the school academically speaking.
- My confidence in learning had been lowered badly .
- I had thoughts were I thought I'm not built to be the person I expected myself to be. My dreams of getting into a top university in the country was fading away from me.
- Going to school was getting more unbearable
- BUT
- I believed that I was just as special as my peers around me. So I copied my work ethics of my peers and added my own strategies of learning
- At last, it actually worked, I'm progressing as fast as everyone. I've followed my formula of being a successful student up until this day.
- My morale has been upward ever since, my dreams of getting into a university that I like were coming back, my aspiring career choices were coming back.
- If it wasn't for me believing in myself encouraging me to work harder; I wouldn't have gotten this far.
