- Greenbelt is a designated area for agriculture, parks and other variations of open space meant to contain the sprawl of an urban area. An example of a greenbelt could be Central Park in New York City, which is 2.53 miles long.
- Gated Community
- The central business district is where a large amount of businesses and traffic confide. In San Francisco one of the largest CBD would be Pier 39, with 14 restaurants and over 90 shops.
- Gentrification
- Suburbs are commonly residential areas found outside city centers with commonly homogeneous populations. Less than 2.32 miles outside Orlando there is a suburb called Meadow Woods with largely residential areas.
- Rural
- Do you need any help, dad?
- Gated communities are meant to give an extra layer of security and control the access to people and automobiles. Just 2.2 miles from where you are standing is Lakewood Plaza, a gated community in Modesto.
- Why can't I get in there?
- Gentrification is the process in which someone buys land in a lesser valued community planning to renovate it and raise prices. This could be harmful to residents in this area if they can't afford to pay for higher living costs. San Francisco/Oakland are the highest ranking area where gentrification is happening.

- Rural areas often have small populations and are located away from large cities and their influence. A nearby example is Waterford, a town with 8,456 residents(as of the 2010 census)
