- The exposition was Vladek, and Artie, and Anja. More of the setting was in the rego park in Poland. The story is mainly about how is was literally during the Holocaust.
- Falling Action
- So whats Happening in the Rising Action is that Vladek is battling in the World War 2 against the Nazis. Soon Vladek then gets captured by the German Nazis and then Vladek gets sent to a concentration camp in other word a death camp.
- Resolution
- Theme & Symbolism
- The conflict in the Falling Action was not really resolved at the end of the book. The book left us with a cliffhanger when Vladek and Anja got caught when getting smuggled into a train.
- So what what happen in the resolution was that Artie went outside in the garden with Vladek to search memories about anja, but what ended up happening was Vladek burned Anjas memories from the past. Artie was really mad/upset.
- The theme of this novel was how hard it was to live and survive as a Jew during the holocaust. the symbolism in the book was real clever like the cats as the Nazis soldiers and the mice as the defenseless Jews .
