- Hi I'm the Roman Catholic Church, and I'm in control of Religion, Politics and Education!
- Everyone around here is dying! I have to get out of this city!
- Let's throw this dead body infested by the plague over the walls since they won't let us in.
- The Dark ages began with the Roman Catholic Church having control over most of West Europe without a lot of people growing too suspicious of it.
- On the other side of the world Asia was currently being ruled by the Han Dynasty who ruled during most of the dark ages. They strictly believed in the religion of Confucianism which emphasized social order.
- I am the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, and everyone under my reign will follow confusianism!
- Asia made quite a few advancements during this area despite it being called "the dark ages". They created paper as well as the sun dial which proved to be quite helpful when it came to telling time.
- One of the main devastating events which occurred in Europe during this time was the bubonic plague, also known as the black death. This Tradgedy killed off nearly half of Europes population which would be similar to a nuclear explosion in our time.
- Oh my Buddah,  look at what I just made! I think I'm going to call it paper.
- This is a map of the silk road, which was a major trade network that went all the way across Asia. However, during this time period it got a bad reputation due to all of the violence that took place at various places among the route.

- Meanwhile the Mongols used this to their advantage during their conquest to take over as much land as possible. They had little regard for others doing things such as throwing plague victims over walls of towns they couldn't defeat.
