March has come again, a month where fire prevention is one of the priorities. Firefighters came to school to educate the students to create a fire prevention plan and teach them about fire safety.
Good day students! I am Sir Mike from the fire department. I am here to discuss with you a fire prevention.
During a fire, you need to calm yourselves and do not panic. Do not run because running might lead you to injury, so you won't be able to get out of the fire.
Find the emergency alarm button if you are inside an establishment or school and press it to sound to inform others. Do not take the elevator because you might get stuck anytime, use stairs instead.
Be vigilant, keep alarmed from any hazard. Protect yourself from the fire. Cover your nose and drop. You can crawl to the nearest fire exit accessible from your location. Get out as quickly as you can and stay away from smoke and falling objects.
FIRE EXIT
Feel the doorknobs and cracks with the back of your hand before opening any door. Do not forget to close the doors and windows that you used to pass through as you escape from the fire. This will delay the spread of fire.
Call the fire department.
After you ensured your safety. Call the fire department immediately.
