  • In India it is better not to eat with the left hand. Mexicans don't really care whichhand we eat with, but if you travel toIndia, the tradition is to use the right hand. The reason is very simple, inthis country there are places where toilet paper is not used but water and theleft hand is used to clean.
  • Don't order a cappuccino aftereating either. Also in Italy is not well looked upon to order a cappuccino atthe end of the meal. The normal thing is to order an espresso, since Italians see coffee as a digestif and not as adessert. So they don't add sugar either. .
  • In Japan, tipping is not welllooked upon. Giving someone extra money for their service is a very commoncustom in Mexico, however the opposite happens in Japan. It is something veryrare and in some places they even reject your money.
  • French fries are not eaten withthe hands in Chile. Mexico isfull of foods for which you do not need to use cutlery, for example, tacos orsopes. However, in Chile it is rude to use your hands to eat, not even wheneating French fries.
  • If the Koreans offer you a dish, always grab it with both hands. Make sure you hold the foodfirmly and with both hands, as it shows respect and appreciation.
  • In Thailand, it is rude to eat rice with a fork. They use a spoon and the fork only works tohelp you take the food.
