- A long time ago, there was a small village called Sleepy Hollow. In this village, people talked about a scary ghost. This ghost was called the Headless Horseman.

- CLIMAX

- The Headless Horseman was a soldier who lost his head in a battle. At night, he rode a black horse and looked for his lost head..

- CONFLICT
- One day, a teacher named Ichabod Crane came to Sleepy Hollow. He was tall and thin, and he was terrified of ghosts. Ichabod liked a girl named Katrina.
- Slide: 4
- RISING ACTION
- One night, Ichabod was riding home when he saw the Headless Horseman. The ghost chased him! Ichabod rode fast, but the Horseman was very close.
- Slide: 5
- FALLING ACTION
- Ichabod makes it to the bridge and turns to see if his pursuer will disappear. In the end, Ichabod disappeared. No one knows what happened to him. Some people say he ran away, and some think the Headless Horseman got him.

- RESOLUTION
- The next morning, the townspeople found Crane's hat and his few belongings, as well as a smashed pumpkin, by the bridge.The story of Sleepy Hollow is still told today. People remember the scary ghost and Ichabod Crane.
