Hello, I am Julie, your nurse for today. We will practice and demonstrate the Watson's theory.
This is Mr. Lee . His joint replacement was recent. He can't even walk straight. He's been told not to go to physical therapy.
I'm not interested in going to therapy. It consumes a lot of my time. I just want to go home.
As a nurse, it is my responsibility to look after you and encourage you to recover, Mr. Lee
Thank you so much nurse. I hope I will recover as soon as possible.
In this therapy, you might be able to walk more naturally after. Also, it may aid in your entire recovery.
According to Jean Watson's theory of caring, patients should be cared for in a more emotional and open manner in a clinical setting. This theory supports the practices of empathy and caring. In order to provide for a more positive experience of the healthcare environment for all individuals, nurses are encouraged to engage with their patients and their patient's families in a genuine and spiritual way.
I appreciate the inspiration and support you gave me, Nurse Julienne. I appreciate your patience with me as well. Thank you!
Taking care of my patients is something I have to do. I'm happy to help. God bless you and stay safe.
