  • At the Science Lab the students were asked by their teacher who are the scientists that made contribution to the development of Electromagnetic Wave Theory.
  • Who are the scientists that made contribution to the development of Electromagnetic Wave Theory?
  • Ma'am, James Clerk Maxwell. He developed a theory that explains electromagnetic waves. He found out that combined electrical fields and magnetic fields can form electromagnetic waves.
  • Good!Anyone else?
  • Ma'am, Heinrich Hertz proved the Theory of Electromagnetism. One of Heinrich Hertz’ inventions showed that light and heat are electromagnetic radiations. He proved that the speed and length of electromagnetic waves can be identified and measured.
  • André-Marie Ampère made the revolutionary discovery that a wire carrying electric current can attract or repel another wire next to it that’s also carrying electric current. He went on to formulate Ampere’s Law of Electromagnetism and produced the best definition of electric current during his time.
  • Michael Faraday is best known for his discovery of electromagnetic induction. His main discoveries include the principles underlying electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis.
  • Hans Christian Oersted, because he showed how a current carrying wires behave like a magnet and without him the other scientist would not be able to formulate the Electromagnetic Wave Theory
  • Very Good you guys. I'm really happy because you understand today's lecture and you know what kind of contribution the scientists did to the Electromagnetic Wave Theory.
