- Hermia wished to marry Lysander but against her father's wishes for he was determined that she should marry Demetrius he spoke to the king who said by his wedding day she must go with what her father said

- Lysander bravely proposes the two should run away that night and love freely Hermia is very excited and then her best friend Helena comes along she moans about Demetrios loving Hermia and not her in her moment of joy Hermia confides her secret and spiteful Helen decides to tell Demetrius for he might start liking her if she he found out
- maybe if I told him he would be a kinder man
- that's not in the script
- Now let's travel to the other end of the city the people here are much poorer these are the workmen and it looks like they're going to put on the show of Pryrames and Thisbe it's supposed to be a tragic romance but if these guys try it. it will end up a comedy. look at the one in the green tunic it's Bottom! showing off his acting skills as always Miss Quince the scriptwriter doesn't look too happy.
