2nd Agricultural (British) Revolution
These new farming tools really help out!
This was probably the largest revolution. It happened in Britain from 1760 to 1840. New farming methods and tools revolutionized the way people farmed. The Enclosure Acts made larger farms more common, which led to urbanization and a larger food supply.

At least these new crops will hold up in the storm.
This was the most recent of the major revolutions. It happened in lesser developed countries around 1960. New genetically engineered crops took the agricultural world by storm. Countries were able to produce tons more food on less land. Although irrigation used up most of the water supply.
