Motion is the phenomenon in which an object changes its position over time.
Good morning class today we will be learning about Motion
Motion
Motion is the phenomenon in which an object changes its position over time.
Motion is the phenomenon in which an object changes its position over time. In other words motion is the action or process of moving or of changing place or position
Motion
KinematicsThe motion of object without reference to forces.
Mechanicsis a branch of science that deals with the study of motion.

Projectile Motion
And now lets learn about Projectile Motion. Projectile Motion is a type of motion wherein an object is thrown in the air, and moves a curved path under gravity alone.
General Case
Parabola is a plane curve which is mirror-symmetrical and is approximately U-shaped.
Horizontal Projectile
Vertical Projectile
Projectile Motion
Projectile Motion has two components. First is the Horizontal Motion it is defined as a projectile in a horizontal plane that depends upon the force acting on it.
General Case
The second is Vertical Motion it is a motion of a projectile that is controlled by the force of gravity
Horizontal Projectile
Vertical Projectile
Projectile Motion
An example of Horizontal Motion is the motion of Earth around the sun and a boat travelling in a river, and an example of Vertical Motion is fruits falling straight to the ground and the movement of an elevator.
General Case
That is all for our lesson in Motion. Thank you for listening and I hope you all learn something.
