  • The French Revolution was a period from 1789-1799 where the Third Estate revolted against the Monarchy, aka. King Louis XVI. The Third Estate formed its own government called the National Assembly, where they, with the help of Thomas Jefferson, wrote the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.
