- There were two brothers Numitor and Amulius. Numitor had become the ruler of their land Alba Longa. But Amulius was jealous so he took his brother's throne and then took his only daughter Rhea Silvia. Amulius had found out that Rhea Silvia had, two babies so he ordered his men to throw them in the water. So his men grabbed the babies put them in a basket then dropped them in the water. Amulius did not wantto inferiate the gods so instead of killing Rhea he locked her away in a prison.

- The basket floated down the riverbank until slowly colliding with land.A She wolf near the river saw the babies and cared for them she then handed them off to a shephard and his wife their names were Faustulusand Larentia. The babies then grew up with them and became men.

- The boys that were named Romulus and Remus grew up to be men that were very strong. The two brothers hunted in the forest they practiced with a bow and arrow. They even did competitions and helped their foster father in any way that they could. They were very helpful to people in the area. They would wait for robbers and foil their plans then share the goods with the shepherds. One day when the two brothers were celebrating a group of robber took revenge and captured Remus. Romulus fearing for his brother's life, gathered a band of people and headed to the palace of Amulius. Once Remus was rescued the two brothers stormed the palace and killed the king.
