- My name is Serra. I’m going into my fourth year of business. I’m planning on going to law school after my undergraduate degree, but I’m not entirely sure. When I’m not doing school, you can find me spending time with my friends, family, and dogs, reading, watching tv, or listening to podcasts. I’m very excited that it’s getting warmer out so I can spend time at my cabin, wake surf, and read in the sun. 
- I love taking electives that interest me. I usually take psychology classes, but I took WGST 100 and loved it. While I’m not a mother myself, one of the most interesting things I’ve experienced growing up is looking at my mother as her own person outside of the mother role. I’m very interested in learning more about motherhood across cultures and history. I can’t wait to listen to the voices of many different people throughout this class. 
- I’m most excited to learn about gender socialization  as it relates to mothering. I have a twin brother, and it’s been interesting to explore how girls are traditionally raised compared to boys.
