Storyboard Text
- Exposition The family is playing chess. Seargent Major Morris shows up and shows them the paw. After explaining what it is he try’s to through it away. Mr. white stops him because he wants to try the paw out for himself.
- Rising action Dad wishes for 200 pounds to pay off his house. In consequence his son is killed. Mrs. White insists that Mr. White wishes their son back. Mr. White gets the paw and wishes Herbert back.
- Climax Son comes back knocking at the door. Mr. White knows it won’t really be his son. Mrs. White goes to let her son in. Mr White knows what has to be done.
- knock knock knock
- falling action Mr. White races for the paw. He has to get it before his son can do anymore damage. He gets the paw and uses his final wish. He wishes to send his son back to where he came from.
- resolution Herbert went back to his grave. Mr. and Mrs. white regret ever touching that paw. They sit there in sorrow. They have lost the thing that meant the most to them.
- superstition If you are walking at night and you see a black cat run by you. You will have bad luck for 7 years. This originated 5000 years ago in ancient Egypt.
