Danae and her son, Perseus, live on the island Seriphus. Perseus is seen as an obstacle to the King of Seriphus as he wishes to marry his mother Danae.
Perseus hesitates in leaving since he does not want to abandon his mom. He eventually does go since he is a man of a word.

Approach
Perseus reaches the cave of the Gorgons. There is no turning back now!
Perseus finds the location of Hesperides through the unconventional method of threats
Perseus finds and kills Medusa, taking her head as a trophy. The two other Gorgons attempt to catch the fleeing Perseus but to no avail.
Ordeal

Perseus receives critical gear and information for defeating the Gorgons: A helmet of invisibility, a mirror, Hermes' winged sandals, and the knowledge that looking directly at Medusa will turn you to stone
Resurrection
Reward
Perseus saves his mother from having to marry the sinister King Polydectes. He shows the King Medusa's head and he turns to stone.
Perseus obtains the head of the beast: Medusa.
Road Back
Perseus' adventure comes to an end. He gives Medusa's head to Athena and is finally back where he started, everything exactly how it should be.
Return with Elixir
Perseus returns to his home with the head of Medusa but on the way finds a princess in danger and saves her from a sea monster.
