Storyboard Description

This story is about my choices and me figuring out my identity. In this story I was a young boy who was confused on what he wanted to do for fun. I had tried many options before these. but these two stuck out to me. I didn't know I would rather pursue music or play sports. This decision became clear after I went to music camp. I was young so I didn't realize this decision could affect my whole life but I think I ended up choosing right.

Storyboard Text

  • I'm too nervous to do this
  • I can't do this
  • "I can't believe I just did that, I knew I never wanted to be a musician anyways and now I embarrassed myself in front of the whole camp." "Music sucks"
  • mom, dad I don't want to do music anymore.
  • When I was younger my parents forced me into music, I was still new to the world do I didn't know what I enjoyed doing yet. my parents sent me to a music camp over the summer on year. I was excited until I realized what I was getting myself into. As soon as I arrive at the camp they lay down everything on me. They said that at the end of the camp everyone has to perform infant of the whole camp. As soon as I heard this I started shaking and that's when I realized I didn't like music.
  • green bean!
  • I couldn't stop crying and on the inside I felt like I let my parents down. This is the moment when I realized music wasn't my thing and I was more into athletics and sports.
  • get him!
  • Sprint!
  • touchdown!!
  • I was scared to tell my parents how I really felt about music, and I didn't want them to be disappointed in me. After talking to them I realized they will always accept me and love me for who I am no matter what.
  • whatever makes you happy
  • I'm so glad my parents accepted me for who I am. I started getting into sports more especially soccer, basketball and football. I enjoyed playing sports much more than I did music and I am glad I am able to do what I love freely
  • goal!!
  • Now that I'm older I am really grateful that I had a choice of what hobby I wanted to pursue and I'm glad I stuck with my choice. to this day I'm still playing all these sports with both my team and friends and still enjoying the same amount. I am one hundred percent sure many people have been in my situation where they didn't know what they wanted to pursue or do for fun. I'm thankful that I got a choice and I think everyone should get their own choice for what they want to do for fun
