In M1 we learned about what total wellness is. We also learned about stress and what stress can cause.
Having Physical HealthPhysical health is how you take care of your body. It all comes from how well you eat and how much you exercise daily.
What it means to have total wellness :
Having good Mental Health Having good mental health means knowing when your mind needs a break from certain things. It also means taking care of yourself when you are feel down and showing yourself love.
Having Social Health Social health is how well you handle and adapt in social events. It also is how well your relationships are with others.
Physical Health Ex :
Sports like : soccer, basketball, football, tennis, etc are good ways to get regular exercise.
When you're feeling down, a good thing to do is call a close friend. Do not just hide your feelings.
Mental Health Ex :

Social Health Ex :
Taking up new hobbies and meeting new people.
What is stress? Stress is the way your body reacts to any threat. Some causes of stress can be caused by loss of a loved one, divorce, and pressure. If stress gets out of control it can cause insomnia, loss of interest, over eating, or loss of appetite.
Alarm StageThis is the fight or not stage. In this stage, your heart beats the fastest. Exhaustion Stage In this stage you feel the most drained and tired. You no longer can fight the stress. Resistance StageIn this stage your body is able to fight the stress. But it can not fight it for too long. That is when it leads to exhaustion.
