- 600 years ago massive giants attacked the continent. no one knows where they came from. one hero rose to fight them and everyone refers to him as The Almighty. using his ether Rema he created a spire splitting through the continent making islands. he went to the top of the spire and projected Rema's energy through the top, turning all the giants to stone, ascending to godhood himself.

- on my way to the shop to sell my scrap I can't help but think about that story. sometimes I wonder where Rema could have gone. but then again ethers are a strange thing. I mean the crystals have to bond with a person and then a weapon and lifeform just appear out of mid air. I actually got a crystal on my morning scrap run, I wonder if I could bond with it?

- I am on my evening scrap run and I think I just saw something get thrown from the statue. now that I think of it, I haven't seen any servants yet. now that i've gotten a closer look it kind of looks like an ether. I wonder what she was doing in the statue? I am going to take her back to the village and try to patch her up. i approach and ask her name. she mutters Rema.

- I am walking back to the village after waiting a few hours, still thinking about what she said. but for some reason the sky where the village is seems brighter. then it hits me, my villige is being burned. I run and somehow Rema, despite being bloodied and bruised, can keep up but i guess it makes sense when you are that powerful. when we arrive I see the state of the village. of the the side i see a bunch of servants of the giants. so thats where they went.
- its only been a week. its only been a week since Rema agreed to be my ether. in that time she taught me how to fight. we figured out that someone had to be reactivating the giants for the servants to be destroying things. from that we vowed to destroy the giants to stop them from fully waking up, but back to present time. whew, those guys were tough Rema says when we defeat the cultists inside a giant. suddenly i hear wimpering from a corner. there is a massive muskrat. i took off his gag. thank you the rat says. i am a warrior but they turned me into a rat. well why dont you come with us.
- after 4 long weeks, the whole gang made it. after we deactivated the giants the cultists just came back. we all agreed to climb the spire and ask The Almighty to intervine. we have made it. so you have arrived Rema. the almighty says, bitterly. yes and we have come to ask you to stop the giants from killing everyone Rema says back. why would i destroy what i made? the almighty says. we all stand there, in shock of what he just said. well Rema if you dont want all the power in the world then fight me and then i will reconsider. after a long fight which i cant be bothered to write, they won and the world returned to normal.
