- The Year is 2024 in Jacksonville FL. 2 major hurricanes have already hit and left destruction in its wake.
- Ladies and Gentlemen as mayor of Jacksonville I am here to address the nations growing concern about the increased amount of hurricanes Florida has been experiencing. I have with me John Jones from NOAA.
- Slide: 2
- NOAA states global warming is to blame for the highest windspeed on record.
- Thank you mayor. I am here to report that hurricane wind speeds have gotten faster over the course of the past couple of years. This seems to be directly due to global warming.

- Currently there is no plan or idea in place to try to stop this from getting worse.
- To be completely honest we are out of ideas and do not know what to entirely do at this point
- Oh no! what do we do?We need a miracle!Lets hope something happens soon!

- Suddenly after the rain clears a flash in the sky is seen hurdling towards earth.
- Look! Up in the sky!

- Hello humans my name is XBOT 327. I am a robot from the year 2074 here to talk to you about your climate.

- As XBOT 327 explains that the life ending hurricane is called Icarus and will have higher speeds then expected due to global warming, one cannot help but remember the story of Icarus and his father Daedalus, and how it can relate to humans ignorance towards climate change.
- Hello mayor I come with a message from the future. global warming will cause a huge hurricane to strike your city and wipe out the entire population.
- This is horrible news. You need to tell me more. Do you have anything else you could share with us? an idea of how we can save ourselves?

- There is ZERO evidence to suggest such a life altering hurricane is imminent. you are a fraud XBOT 327. You need to leave us alone
- Yeah leave us! Wait maybe we should listen.No he's a menace!
- You are making a grave mistake! As you continue to destroy the very planet you live on you will be digging your own grave.
- As XBOT 327 tells more and more people about the impending demise of planet earth, he is told that he is a fake and does not know what he is talking about.

- Sir I think we should listen to him!Be quiet he's got trouble written all over him.He sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
- You sir are a menace to society and must be taken out of service. We are reprogramming you to shovel coal for the remainder of your days!
- With XBOT 327 fate sealed by the very people he came to protect, he was taken prisoner and forced to shovel coal, which would eventually aid in even more global warming.

- As XBOT 327 looks into the distance he can't help but think how evil and cruel mankind can be. Left with no other option XBOT 327 takes out his power supply and powers off...
- The humans have sealed their fate. I gave them the warning and attempted to save them. Just like Icarus their ignorance was their downfall.
