- Shmuel! What are you doing here.
- *eats the chiken.*

- As Bruno was walking into the kitchen, he was shocked to find his friend Shmuel at the other side of the table.
- Oh no! I'm going to be in trouble
- WHAT ARE YOU DOING! I TOLD YOU TO POLISH THESE GLASSES
- Uh oh. I have a bad feeling about thus
- Bruno was unaware that Shmuel had been looking at this piece of chicken was ate the whole thing until the bone was left. So Bruno cut some slices for Shmuel as an apology
- No sir.
- Do you know him?
- Bruno cut a slice of chicken and handed it over to Shmuel. Shmuel gobbled up the piece of chicken like there was no tomorrow
- Yes sir.
- You will finish polishing all those glasses, now let's go Bruno.
- Bruno felt bad and wanted to offer him more slices as chicken, that was when Lieutenant Kotler came in shouting at Shmuel Both the boys were shocked and scared at the same time.
- Lieutenant Kotler asked Bruno if he knew the boy behind him, Bruno knew him but he did not want to get in trouble so he lied to Lieutenant Kotler and Shmuel had felt betrayed by his only friend.
- Shmuel quickly took a napkin and a glass and quickly polished all those cups while Lieutenant Kotler told Bruno to follow him. Bruno felt very guilty and feel bad for Shmuel. He felt very ashamed of himself. Shmuel was never to be seen again in the afternoon.
