- While there was a heavy storm one day, Mary discovered the second Pterodactyl ever.Paleontologists would argue on what type of animal it used to be. After Maryconvincing them that it was a fish for four years, they finally agreed.
- WOW
- Mary went on to discover another species of Plesiosaur, bringing her to a total of 5major discoveries before the age of 30. For two decades, she ran a very successful business.
- I've found 5!
- Mary Anning will be remembered as a paleontologist who paved the way for a completely new understanding of the history of the earth.
- But then, disaster struck. The local beach that Mary depended on her whole life dried up; she only found old species that she had found before. Mary found it difficult to sell these old items.
- What happened? What am I going to do for living?
- .Soon, her mom passed away, her bank collapsed, and Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 46. She carried on for two more years but found nothing.

- In her final years, the men who took credit for her work came through for her in small ways. After she passed, the Society honored her with an eulogy and a stained glass window gifted to her church.
